ENGLISH CENTER DIRECTOR

RIVERTA is a new English center in Thạnh Trị Commune, Vĩnh Long Province (near Định Trung Market, former Bình Đại District, Bến Tre) with a simple mission: to help local children access effective English learning in a fun and practical way, building real communication skills while supporting their studies at school.

We re looking for someone who wants to grow with us from day one.

As Center Director, you will be the head of the center. You will directly manage and run its operations and hold legal responsibility before the competent authorities for all of the center’s activities.
This is a long-term role, with a minimum commitment of 2 years from the center’s opening.

/*Working Arrangement*/
- Option A: full-time on-site, optionally combining Director with academic management and teaching.
- Option B: part-time, mostly remote, with at least 3 on-site days per month, and mandatory presence whenever the Director’s signature, inspections or official meetings require it.
- Flexible compensation: fixed salary, hourly pay, or a combination, depending on workload.

/*Responsibilities*/
- Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the center’s operations and results.
- Organize the team: assign academic and administrative leads and set up advisory groups as needed.
- Manage teachers, staff and students in line with the center’s regulations and applicable law; recognize good performance and handle disciplinary matters within your authority.
- Optional: also lead the academic side and teach classes full-time.

- Good personal background and ethics; able to provide a criminal record certificate.
- Management and leadership ability.
- Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching or English Language, or a bachelor’s degree in another field plus English proficiency of at least Level 3 of Vietnam’s 6-level framework (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of experience in education or training, verifiable through social insurance records and labor contracts.
- Not currently a civil servant or public employee, and not barred from managing a business under Vietnamese law.
- Legal capacity and good health.
