About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our core product team. You’ll work with a fast-moving group of engineers, designers, and business analysts to build scalable backend systems that power our product. Your focus will be backend architecture, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

What You ll Do

- Service Development (Python & TypeScript)
- Build and maintain APIs and event-driven services with FastAPI / Encore and Node.js.
- Data Engineering
- Model and optimize PostgreSQL databases, implement Row-Level Security, and enforce multi-tenant isolation.
- Cloud & Infrastructure
- Design AWS architectures (ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Cognito, etc.).
- Define infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi.
- CI/CD & Dev Experience
- Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Champion zero-downtime blue-green or canary releases.
- Collaboration & Quality
- Participate in design reviews, write clear documentation, and mentor teammates
